Designing Trade Show Literature

Your trade show literature and promotional material are the only things that potential clients will take away from the conference that is branded with your company's logo and positioning statement. For that reason, it is important that your brochures and pamphlets be well-designed and memorable. You can avoid some common trade show marketing mistakes through the use of effective design principles with regards to your trade show literature.

Effective trade show literature should always have the following elements:

  • Clear branding with your company's logo.
  • Prominent positioning statement relaying exactly what your company does and why you're better than your competitors.
  • Concise, descriptive copy that relays information about your products and/or services without confusing or distracting your customers will help them to learn about what you do without losing your branding focus.

In order to distribute your literature, you'll need literature racks. MODdisplays does not recommend proactively passing our brochures at your event, as this will result in annoyed attendees and more wasted brochures. If you set up your literature holder in an attractive area of your trade show booth, you will find that only interested attendees will take your literature.
